The METIS Intelligence Subnet

METIS converts orbital behavior into financial intelligence. The subnet is a deterministic pipeline from raw telemetry to standardized, financial-grade outputs delivered via API.

Each stage is independently observable, scored, and labeled — so institutional users always know whether a value is live, consensus-derived, model-generated, or demo-only.

Stage 1
Orbital + Environmental Data
TLEs, conjunction messages, geomagnetic activity (Kp), solar wind, debris catalogs, fuel telemetry, operator manifests.
Stage 2
Miner Task Packets
Standardized prediction tasks issued each epoch — asset, horizon, required outputs, deadline, and reward weighting.
Stage 3
Miner Predictions
Independent miner models submit predicted position, maneuver probability, SASV, PD/LGD, and confidence per task.
Stage 4
Validator Scoring
Validators score predictions on accuracy vs ground truth, calibration, signal uniqueness, timeliness, and realized economic outcome.
Stage 5
Consensus Engine
Weighted aggregation produces consensus values, disagreement metrics, and finality decisions.
Stage 6
Standardized Intelligence Outputs
SASV, Health Score, Satellite State, PD/LGD/EL, Orbital Intelligence, Cost of Capital Range, Trigger Readiness, Modeled Payout — all labeled.
Stage 7
APIs for Finance, Insurance, Operators
Financial-grade JSON delivered to lenders (SFC), insurers (Prometheus), and operators via /api/public/*.
Standardized Outputs

Five categories of financial-grade output

Asset & Valuation

Standardized values let lenders, insurers, and investors price an orbital asset on the same basis.

  • Standardized Aerospace Value (SASV)
  • Health Score
  • Satellite State

Risk

PD, LGD and Expected Loss feed directly into loan pricing and insurance premiums.

Orbital Intelligence

Predicted behavior and uncertainty bounds turn raw telemetry into actuarial signal.

Financial

Standardized financial outputs are what makes orbital assets financeable at institutional rates.

  • Cost of Capital Range

MODELED

Insurance

Trigger readiness and finality confidence let insurers underwrite parametric coverage with confidence.

Truth in Labeling

METIS distinguishes between LIVE, CONSENSUS, MODELED, and MOCK outputs so users can understand whether a value is directly observed, consensus-derived, model-generated, or demo-only.
